Hello everyone!

My name is Nicholas Lee and I am one of the Student Leadership Programs Advisors! I am originally from New Jersey where I spent 22 years of my life before moving out to Cali! I did my undergrad at Rutgers University out in Jersey where I graduated with a double major in East Asian Studies and Theater. I also just recently received my Masters in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from Syracuse University.  

A little more about me, I love going out to different restaurants and trying new foods is always a good time for me! I also enjoy learning new recipes and trying my hand in cooking. I’m not necessarily the best when it comes to cooking but I think I can cook decently enough. I also enjoy walking around and exploring new areas with friends and having fun photoshoots.

Fun fact: I am also a triplet with my two sisters being identical twins. I am the only one working in higher education though! My one sister is in Illustration and my other sister is in Data Sciences. I also have an older brother out in Seattle with his own startup.

I am super excited to get to know you all throughout this year and for years to come!

Hi there! My name is Marissa Arnold (she/her) and I serve as the Student Leadership Program Manager. I am from Nevada, and spent 10 years at the University of Nevada, Reno (Go Wolf Pack!). I received my Bachelors degree in Music Education in 2017, and a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration in Spring 2020, both from UNR.

I am in my second year at UCSB, and now work with all 4 residential student leadership programs (RHA, NRHH, SACC & GSACC)!

Outside of my work, I enjoy playing board games and video games as well doing jigsaw puzzles & any kind of crafts. I can often be found at a coffee shop with my partner, or out walking our dog as we explore all Santa Barbara has to offer!

I'm very excited to be working with the Residential Housing Association at UCSB!
